Training Organisations
ITO Sectors
The Energy Sector in Trinidad
and Tobago accounts for 22% of the GDP and 67% of
exports. It is a sector targeted for considerable growth.
Training for this sector is therefore high on the
national agenda. To spearhead the development of
standards and training programmes for this sector, an
Industry Training Organisation was established in
December 1999, and formally launched to the national
community on May 22, 2000.
